This property is located in the village of Franceses, almost at the end of the “Lomo de Los Castros”, a ridge that ends not much lower on the steep cliff coast of Garafía. Franceses is a small village, widely spread over several land ridges in the north. The nearest big village is in the north-east, Barlovento, where a reasonable range of shops can be found. The capital Santa Cruz de La Palma is a good hour’s drive away. The object is situated at an altitude of approx. 350m, and is located in an ideal climate zone for the cultivation of fruit trees such as papaya, bananas, as well as many vegetables.
On the plot of almost 6,000m² there are various Canarian constructions, one of which is immediately habitable (two-floors), one in the process of complete renovation, and the last two constructions can / should be rebuilt. The total built-up area covers almost 160m². All constructions are built with volcanic stones, whether plastered or not, and also have other typical details such as wooden floors and roof constructions. The water comes from the basin in La Laguna and is provided by a tap (with water meter).
Access to the plot is via the general road network, a local asphalt access road and finally a concrete path (easily accessible by any car), which winds down the land ridge.
